Hi Sweet Second Grade Families!
You will never believe the outstanding poetry being produced by these second graders. Everyday before writing we put on our poet eyes (sparkly hat). Poets look at the world through different lens than regular writers; we are seeing things in a whole new way! We cannot wait until you come to our poetry party Friday, May 3rd! You will see poetry portfolios, a slide show and a poetry presentation! Get ready for a Perfectly Poetic Party!
Today is "B" in our alphabetic countdown. We titled this day: Bring a healthy snack! It was fun to be able to dive into a good book while eating pears, mangos, apples, granola bars, crackers, carrots, and many other healthy snacks!
